We create a digital twin to provide details of what is happening inside the building. Smart evacuation is using technology to guide people in and out of the building in case of an emergency such as a fire.
In case of an emergency such as a fire, traditionally smoke detectors detect smoke, setting
off the alarm and sprinklers. This signals the people inside the building to
find and follow the nearest emergency exit. However, it is difficult to know whether you are
running to or away from the dangerous
and impacted area. There are different possibilities if potential pathways are
impacted or partially blocked. If those evacuating do not know how to get out,
they lose valuable time to escape or find an alternate exit. Furthermore, in a
stressful situation like a fire, panic can hinder the
ability for a person to act quickly and think rationally.
With our
solution, when an emergency occurs, our AI system will
identify the location of the emergency and map out the quickest and safest routes. The safety
of the routes is indicated by the changing colors of lights placed inside the building.

red.

First responders need precise information of an emergency situation in order to be effective and prevent casualties. In developing situations, most often, first responders do not have an accurate and up to the minute assessment as the situation is fluid. Our unique solution addresses this information gap. The use of a digital twin provides a 3D visual allowing first responders to review the situation before they arrive on the scene. Upon arriving on the scene first responders have a much better understanding of the situation than in traditional scenarios.
