The product we develop is called EvacDroit, an advanced fire detection system. If there is a fire in a building EvacDroit shows the quickest (shortest) and safest route out of the building. In situations where there is no way out of the building the system will guide the people to the safest location inside the building until help arrives. Besides guiding people to safety the system updates the firemen (and other emergency services) and building managers about the situation inside the building by providing valuable information in situations where mere seconds can make a big difference.
